Treffpunkt, German Sausage Buffet!
Get your hungry bellies ready for Treffpunkt‘s eat-all-you-can German sausage buffet! This goldmine of a restaurant has been around since 1986, but I guess they don’t like to advertise much. I only got news about this after my sister told me about it a week ago, but I’m definitely gonna bring my friends here for another visit sometime soon!
It took us some time finding the restaurant, but that’s just because we took the P. Tuazon route. With Treffpunkt having rested along Liberty st. cor. Edsa, the best way would be going via Katipunan, then turning right to Boni Serrano st. just before White Plains. After that, turn right to Edsa then you’ll be seeing the place soon on your right side at Liberty street.
Their 210PHP buffet includes the ff: German sausage all-you-can with the choices of Hungarian, Frankfurter, Italian, Cheese, Kielbasa and more! There’s also unlimited bread and rice, but I suggest you don’t dwell in them too much. I’m not sure whether the buffet option is a temporary promo or not, so contact the branch first to be sure. Treffpunkt is originally known for selling their products frozen – cold cut salamis, sausages, pepperonis, steaks, and other German house specialties . I guess they added that restaurant feel so as to function like a compensated taste test. And when the diners like what they ordered, they’ll probably take home some frozen souvenirs. Per kilo of sausages (8 pieces) costs around 380PHP so you don’t need to do the math to know how much you’ll save when you go for the buffet.
Besides food, they also offer German beer and wine be it by the bottle, can, keg or canned keg – your choice. Now I bet this place has probably piqued your interest, right? Well, maybe we’ll bump into each other here soon! See ya! :)

Hope you’ll like the place as much as we did! Just order different kinds so you won’t give up quick. Eating just only sausages gets gastronomically repetitive. I was able to chow down four and a couple of bread >.
Hi! I used to visit the place many moons ago. It was located along EDSA near P.Tuazon. It seems that they improved the decoration that was really neglected before. I think the owner was an Austrian who later sold the business and the present owners continued the tradition. At that time there was no buffet but a tray with assorted cold cut. I liked their potato salad but the choice is very limited aside from the cold cuts and it’s out of my way. That’s the reason why I haven’t visited the place for a long time. I believe that a small delicatessen in Teachers’Village is selling their products.

I see, I wonder how the place looked like back then. :p About the buffet, I’ve confirmed they only have it when they make vouchers available on coupon sites so they don’t always offer it. Better check Groupon, Metrodeal, etc. if you want to avail the eat-all-you-can. If not, you’re gonna have to pay the usual per sausage price. Teacher’s village? Nice. Lots of awesome foodie places there! :3

how to get there? if i’ll be commuting from baclaran, via bus or mrt in edsa station. i’ve been craving for authentic german sausages ever since i fell in love with the county a decade ago.
