After getting my Kata i1, I guess it’s time to put my Lenovo A60 to early retirement- as early as after six months after it was bought! What the hell and why the hell? My Kata i1 review here would probably help you understand. Then it hit me: that this was a good opportunity to play around with Facebook apps and hold a giveaway contest, having the phone as the prize.  In the end, all is good, right? Since I’m giving away a free phone and all!

Here’s how easy it is to join!

1.) Go to the contest’s Facebook App at http://woobox.com/po23hd
2.) Like Akashic Records | Chad Senga if you haven’t yet
3.) Fill out the information fields (email, mobile number and optional Tweet- leave blank if you want to skip)
4.) Press ‘Enter’
5.) Post promo to your Facebook Wall, and you’re done submitting one entry!

Optional: You can post the contest link to your Twitter feed and/or send invites in Facebook to get one bonus point for each. The more bonus points you have, the better the chances of winning!

CONTEST MECHANICS:

1. The Lenovo A60 Giveaway by Akashic Records is a one-time only contest that starts on 5:00pm December 19, 2012 and ends on January 2, 2013. It is open to anyone 13 years old and above and should be currently residing in the Philippines.

2. To join, applicants are required to use the contest’s Facebook app in the Akashic Records page, providing his/her email and mobile number.

3. There will only be one entry per Facebook user/email address. However, there will be plus one point for every Facebook friend you referred that joined, and also one for every post in Twitter. The more points you have, the more chances of winning.

4. The winner will be chosen randomly from the pool of entrants within the week after the last day of entries (January 4-10) using Woobox’s “Pick a Winner” function. The winner will be announced in the Akashic Records web site (https://chadsenga.com) immediately after.

5. The prize of the contest includes the following: Lenovo A60 unit (black) with attached screen protector, original earphones, 4GB micro SD card, USB cable, charger, silicon case, product manual, product warranty booklet, and receipt all placed inside the original box. The package was bought last June 6, 2012 at the Quality Cellular Phone Center located at 144-C West Avenue, Quezon City for 6,600 PHP, as stated in the receipt. 6. The winner shall receive prize via LBC local shipping, or if residing within the NCR region, meet-up is possible in the following locations: Gateway Mall (Cubao), Robinsons Metro East (Cainta), SM Masinag (Antipolo), Trinoma Mall (North), Glorietta Malls (South) or at any LRT2/MRT station. LBC local shipping shall be shouldered by Akashic Records.
