To-Die-For Sisig at Ate Fe’s Kitchen

There are currently three sisig joints I can’t resist no matter what, with the latest addition having come from Ate Fe’s Kitchen! My buds and I originally intended to just bike around UP Diliman, but ended up having a hearty lunch at the famous foodie haven of Maginhawa St.

It’s located in UP Teacher’s Village, at the very corner of Maginhawa St. and Magiting St. Landmarks include Grill Queen beside it as well as a MiniStop at the opposite side of the street.

A plate of sisig with egg costs 95 PHP, a cup of rice for 10 PHP and a bottle of Mountain Dew for 15 PHP. Share that meal with a friend, and you’ll be enjoying one of life’s awesomeness for less than 80 PHP!

For the best sisig experience, lather your rice with the explosive sisig oil using the serving spoon and sprinkle it with hot sauce, calamansi and soy sauce. *Definitely not recommended to those with health issues*

This place is actually famous to people from the University of the Philippines, Ateneo, Miriam and Kalayaan College so you’d see students eat here often.

Before I end this post, I’d like to apologize to all of you for the picture quality I’ve been delivering on my posts – I don’t bring my DSLR that much on my trips anymore and bringing it on my bike trips is definitely not a good idea. Instead, I use my friends’ smartphones and whatnots to do the job. If my financial condition permits it, I’ll buy myself a decent handy digicam where I can shoot all the awesome places I want!
